The Genus Group, formed in 2010 and headquartered in the Washington, DC area, is a small, woman-owned consulting firm that provides services to both the US Government and to the many companies in industry that support it.  Our work supports primarily communications and satellite systems customers.  Mrs. Jasen, our CEO, is an organizational expert and is an MBA from University of Chicago.  Mr. Jasen, our President and Managing Partner, has more than 30 years in communications systems and networks and almost two decades in SATCOM.  His background includes all manner of baseband and terminal equipment up through space capability.  Mr. Jasen has three published patents on prioritizing network services.
